“To celebrate the publication of our latest RHS book, RHS Encyclopedia of Garden Design, DK and our partner the Royal Horticultural Society, have teamed up with Homes & Property to offer a very special prize to three home and garden-owning Londoners.
Three lucky London homeowners will have their garden redesigned by top garden designers Chris Collins and Sven Wombwell, to an individual prize value of £5,000. Each garden will be landscaped and planted, in consultation with the owner, to reflect design ideas featured in the RHS Encyclopedia of Garden Design. The winning gardens will then feature in our Great London Garden Trail.
This trail, organised by DK, the RHS and the Society of Garden Designers, will feature some fantastically designed and rarely seen London gardens, including the three Homes & Property competition winners. The trail gardens will be open to the public, for FREE, on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2009, from 12-4pm.
A downloadable trail map will be available shortly to show where the gardens are located.
