The Eden Project wants a new building, called The Edge.
The idea is that it will showcase sustainable ways of living and coping with climate change – collecting rainwater and using solar power and other renewable energy sources.
A desert, an oasis and water gardens will be built on top of underground rooms where creative living solutions will be explored.
The only snag is where the money comes from. The National Lottery is giving away £50 million to one lucky cause – and we get to choose which one wins the money.
Four projects are contending for the money, and they’re all worthwhile causes. Voting takes place in December – make a note to vote!
