Sea Kale

When I ordered the Chilean Guava plants, I had to add a couple of packets of seed to make it up to the minimum order threshold.

One of the things I chose was Sea Kale (Crambe maritima). The instructions on the packet say it can be sown in a cold frame in autumn, so yesterday I sowed all 9 seeds in a pot in the Grow Dome.

While I was there I sowed the rest of my Sweet Cicely seeds (all 4 of them). Last year’s sowing didn’t come to anything. I need to dig out the Camassia and have another go with those. I think that will be the extent of my winter sowing this year.
