I’m told that the Permaculture area at the Big Green Gathering is laid back, friendly and big on home made things, so I have been busy making seed envelopes for my seed swap, and I have also made my own bunting (out of recycled envelopes) to decorate the stand. I thought I would write it up on Instructables, and this is the result:
Emma Cooper is a freelance writer, photographer and podcaster. An active organic gardener, Emma lives in Oxfordshire with husband Pete, three plastic compost bins, two wormeries and a pair of bokashi bins. There used to be chickens, too, but they have all moved on to pastures new.
Emma loves making compost and growing edible & useful plants in an environmentally-friendly way. Her first book, 'The Alternative Kitchen Garden: An A to Z', covers a wide range of topics from green gardening techniques to unusual edible plants and was published by Permanent Publications in 2009. Emma's second book, 'The Allotment Pocket Bible', was published by Crimson in June 2011.
